The VCLA International Student Awards are awarded by the Vienna Center for Logic and Algorithms to the authors of outstanding scientific works in the field of Logic and Computer Science, in particular in the following main areas:

• Databases and Artificial Intelligence
• Verification
• Computational Logic

The awards were established in 2014, with the following two categories:

• Outstanding Master Thesis Award
• Outstanding Undergraduate Research Award
