It is our pleasure to announce the call for the SIGLOG/VCLA Travel Award for attendees of Women in Logic 2018 – WiL 2018 Workshop at FLoC 2018 on July 8th 2018.

The second Women in Logic Workshop (WiL 2018) is a workshop affiliated with the Thirty-Third Annual ACM/IEEE Symposium on Logic in Computer Science (LICS), 9-12 July 2018 and held as part of the Federated Logic Conference 2018 (FLoC), 6-19 July 2018.

Eligibility

SIGLOG/VCLA Travel Awards support female students and postdocs attending WiL 2018, who are at the same time the authors of abstracts or papers.

SIGLOG/VCLA Award

• Those who are awarded a SIGLOG/VCLA Travel Award will be reimbursed for a portion of their travel expenses.
• There will be at most one award per paper.
• Winners will also be recognized on VCLA website, and social media (Twitter and Facebook).

Nomination

• A nomination consists of a recommendation letter of up to 300 words by the applicants supervisor.
• Nominations for the award should be sent to the WiL Program Co-chairs, Valeria de Paiva at valeria.depaiva AT gmail.com and Amy Felty at afelty AT uottawa.ca.

Important Dates

• Nominations must arrive no later than June 13, 2018.
• The winners will be notified by June 20, 2018.
