DATE:Wednesday, November 28, 2018
TIME:18:00 s.t.
VENUE:Österreichische Computer Gesellschaft, Heinz Zemanek-Saal, Wollzeile 1, 1010 Wien

Modern technologies and innovations make important contributions to the design of intelligent mobility and open up great economic opportunities in the transport technology sector. In one of the current projects of Prof. Günther Raidl, new approaches are being explored, in which potential users are to be involved in the planning and optimization of the transport system. Through a suitable web-based system and with so-called gamification, users should be confronted with possible individualized solution scenarios, to which they can submit assessments and suggestions for improvement. A machine learning component is thus designed to gradually learn the real needs of potential users and limitations in the real world and to find them in the cycle with an efficient optimization algorithm for more reliable overall solution.

The public lecture is part of the Austrian Computer Association public lecture series called “Horizonte”.
